Global Trade Certificate (GTC): The Global Trade Certificate is an introductory-level online certification providing a comprehensive understanding of trade finance products – from letters of credit through to supply chain financing techniques. It’s an ideal programme for transactional and relationship managers—as well as executives from management, credit, legal and compliance functions who want to build an understanding of the nuts and bolts of global trade.
The industry-validated syllabus was developed by a group of leading trade finance experts drawn from ICC’s Banking Commission. Each e-course has been tailor-made to develop the skills needed to sell, deliver and process global trade finance solutions.
The full certification programme – delivered exclusively online – includes 8 hours of video lessons and 250 assessment questions to help you grasp key concepts easily.
Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP): The Certified Trade Finance Professional is an advanced level online certification providing up-to-date, in-depth knowledge of trade finance products. Using case studies and with an emphasis on analysis of real-world scenarios, the intensive programme focuses on key trade finance products, techniques and compliance issues.
The certification is aimed at product and relationship managers – as well as executives from management, credit, legal and compliance functions. We recommend that you have 5+ years of trade finance experience, or already certified via the ICC Academy’s Global Trade Certificate (GTC) or LIBF’s CDCS, CSDG or CITF programmes to take this programme.
The industry-validated syllabus – delivered exclusively online – was developed by a group of leading trade finance experts drawn from ICC’s Banking Commission. It includes 250 assessment questions and 28 case studies so you can better understand how to apply what you learn to real-world scenarios.
Length of course/s:
Each individual e-course will take between 3-5 learning hours depending on your level of expertise. Approximate total learning time for our full certificate programmes is as follows:
Global Trade Certificate: 45 hours over 70 lessons.
Certified Trade Finance Professional: 45 hours over 72 lessons.
Candidates will have 12 months from the purchase date to complete their individual course, certification programmes and exams.
